About Dana

I first learned Chinese Mah Jongg from my Grandmother at five years old. Years later I was introduced to American Mah Jongg, the National MahJongg League way and was hooked.

Way before Mah Jongg was the “IT game” I started teaching Mah Jongg. Over the last twenty five years I have taught over 25,000 people to play this game. Over time I have changed and perfected the way I teach the game as I discovered all the many different ways people learn best. I believe in students building a strong foundation in understanding how to read the Mah Jongg Card and the rules of the games so they can have the best experience playing.

Based in Durham North Carolina I travel not just the state, or the country, but also internationally making new friends sharing the love of Mah Jongg.
